“It's Hard to Think about Anything Else” is a triptych of silkscreens that visualizes Kutovoy’s interest in combining high and low. Its maniacal attempts at accuracy in anatomic drawing that comes from his strict academic education get into direct contact with the world of computer games and images that regulate the functioning of the internet, especially when it serves as a shopping place. All the elements forming the triptych are borrowed from real contexts, be it offline (such as the standing man is a graphic elaboration of the drawing of a Colossus) or online (for example, the unicorn is a “copy” of a weapon from the shooter “Red Faction: Armageddon”).
