Anastasia Potemkina was born in 1984 in Moscow. She graduated from Moscow Architectural Institute and Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. As part of the Urban Fauna Laboratory group, she presented her works at the 4th Moscow Biennale of Contemporary Art (2011), the 13th Venice Architecture Biennale (2012) and the 1st Triennial of the Bergen Assembly (2013). She was a Kandinsky Prize nominee in 2015.
Anastasia Potemkina works with various means of image transmission, from drawings and photographs to the staged performances with actors and sound installations.
