Alexander Kutovoy was born in 1983 in Cherkassy, Ukraine. He graduated from the faculty of sculpture of the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev, continued his studies at the Rodchenko Moscow School of Photography and Multimedia. Kutovoy works mainly with sculpture, using both traditional materials — clay and bronze, as well as new technologies — 3D printing. In his artistic practice, he explores the life forms of monumental sculpture in the contemporary world and in the human consciousness and reflects on the theme of his childhood memories. Kutovoy's works are presented in the collection of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art.
