Cosmoscow International Contemporary Art Fair together with Shaltai Editions hosted a special event offering a unique opportunity to meet with Taus Makhacheva and Irina Korina, artists of the Venice Biennale 2017 Main Exhibition. Brief interactive discussion with two artists was moderated by curator Antonio Geusa providing an audience with a deep insight into creative concepts behind their work. The event took place at the Sina Centurion Palace Hotel on May 12, 2017.
The event also included a presentation of the new Suspenselithographic series by Alexandra Paperno. The series is a joint project between Alexandra and Shaltai Editions. It was the first work that Paperno has made using the printing technique of lithography. The project resulted from several months of studying the specificity and possibilities of the technique and learning how to use the technology.
