The ‘June-June’ sextet of paintings and graphic sheets arose as an ‘immediate’ reaction on the first meeting with Pivovarov’s future wife Milena. Due to the bulkiness of the painting series and special exposition restrictions, it is very difficult to display it. In more than forty years since its inception, it has exhibited only twice. Therefore, Pivovarov gladly took the opportunity to transfer it into such a democratic form, as a graphic series. The silkscreen technique is a perfect match to the ascetic language of the images.
